Busy baking!
We've been learning about the story of wheat. One of our classmates lives beside a farm where wheat is grown and harvested.
We learned that once the wheat is harvested it's sent to the miller where it will be ground into flour. We decided to use this flour to make bread for our biodiversity breakie!

Replanting our sunflowers!
We've been busy bees replanting for biodiversity!
Our sunflowers grew so much that we had to replant them. This will give their roots more room to grow big and strong.

Growth in the biodiversity garden!
Yesterday we brought home some freshly budded plants for our biodiversity garden. We noticed that the plants had outgrown the pots they were in.
Their roots we tangled and they desperately needed lots more room to grow. We replanted them in our biodiversity garden.

Looking for changes...
1st&2nd class decided to go back to the garden centre to see if we could observe what changes might have occurred. We noticed that the frogspawn was still frogspawn but had grown bigger!
We also notice there was lots of fresh frogspawn that was obviously smaller!
We couldn't resist picking up a plant or two to help 'liven up' our biodiversity garden!
