February Updates

Hello everyone!
February began with the planting of the first seeds in our classroom garden. We planted sunflowers!

We learned about the life cycle of the sunflower seed.

We made lots of crafts for St Valentine's Day!

Teacher Valerie had a very special surprise for us this month.. we now have our very own class popcorn maker! We used it to learn all about adjectives last week. We had to listen really carefully to describe how the popcorn sounded when it was popping. We also described how it smells, tastes and feels. And then we got to eat our popcorn! It was delicious!
