Sunshine in May

 Hello everyone!
We are as busy as ever in 1st and 2nd class! We have been learning all about outer space! We are learning about castles this week. Well done to all the boys and girls who completed such outstanding work on their projects at home!

 We had a great KNS Bake Off last week!

 Thank you to the kind parents who donated these beads and peg boards for art! We had so much fun with this art activity, it was most therapeutic , particularly after a week of testing- just what the doctor ordered!

 We made the most of the heatwave last week and brought our books outside in the sunshine.

 And here is Sonny saying hello for all the boys and girls who requested a photo of him!

Summer term..

The weather was fantastic last week and so we did lots of our lessons outside.

 

 We were searching for mini beasts again!

 A huge well done to these girls who performed in a very important show this weekend. They did so well and even treated us to an impromptu performance this morning!

Mini Beast Trail!

Well done to these two boys for working very hard this week!

 

 We had so much fun in PE, our new PE teacher does loads of fun games with us!

 Today we learned about two mini beasts, which were caterpillars and worms. We then got our containers, note pads and magnifying glasses ready to go on a mini beast hunt in our school garden! We found lots of different mini beasts.

An Amazing Project

Some days teachers have moments where they are actually left speechless by some of the efforts made by pupils. I had one of those moments on our first day back after the Easter holidays. Prior to the Easter break we had learned about mosaic art. During the holidays, our second class pupil worked on this outstanding project. If you look carefully, all the pictures are created by using mosaic! It shows some of the topics we learned about this year. A huge well done again to this 2nd class star student!
