November Fun

Hello everyone!

Welcome back! We have lots of updates to share with you! 

We have been working very hard on our renaming skills in maths in 2nd class. We have really gotten the hang of it now! We learned about Irish myths and legends in history. We wrote letters to Santa asking for an elf for our classroom. We learned all about the rainforest in science and geography. We worked in pairs to make matching mittens in art. Oh and today we had a little party because we reached an amazing 150 points on class dojo!

October and November Updates

Hello everyone!

We have a lot to catch up on!

Here we are creating our collage for the Harvest Fair. We had a brainstorm team, a design team, a drawing team and a painting team. The design team are hard at work here discussing harvest themes and proportions.

 We had a special guest speaker visit our classroom. He told us all about farming.

 All set for the conker competition!

November:

We learned all about the Arctic this week. We made snowmen in art:

We worked in groups to complete research projects on Arctic animals. We learned about the walrus, orcas, polar bears, Arctic foxes and Arctic hares.
