We had fun helping prepare the school garden today. We planted lettuce, radish, beetroot, and strawberries. It is all tremendously exciting indeed!

Lego Worskhop in KNS!

Hello everyone!

We are busy here working towards our Primary Science Award. As part of this we learned about engineering and building structures. 2nd class attended a lego workshop run by Bricks4kidz to learn about engineering. It was so much fun! 

In other news, the girls and boys in 1st and 2nd class got to sit at the special table for doing excellent work!

Spring in Kilcoskan!

Welcome to our blog, I do hope you enjoy reading about our latest updates!

We were learning all about farming this March. We made these farm dioramas in art.

 

 

 We planted our sunflower seeds! They have grown a lot since. We will measure them every day to see how fast they grow.

 We learned about the life cycle of the frog in science. And we have our very own frog spawn. We are going to monitor it daily to watch the eggs grow into a frog!

 We really enjoyed Seachtain na Gaeilge! Thank you Teacher Helen for all the fun activities!

We had a St Patrick's Day march to school!

 We worked in groups to complete our St Patrick projects.

 We hosted our very first Mother's Day Afternoon Tea! Thanks to all the Moms for coming in!

 We made an old fashioned type of brown bread which they made long ago on the farm.
