October and November Updates

Hello everyone!

We have a lot to catch up on!

Here we are creating our collage for the Harvest Fair. We had a brainstorm team, a design team, a drawing team and a painting team. The design team are hard at work here discussing harvest themes and proportions.

 We had a special guest speaker visit our classroom. He told us all about farming.

 All set for the conker competition!

November:

We learned all about the Arctic this week. We made snowmen in art:

We worked in groups to complete research projects on Arctic animals. We learned about the walrus, orcas, polar bears, Arctic foxes and Arctic hares.

Hello everyone!

Welcome to our October issue of blog updates!

We love Golden Time on a Friday. We get Golden Time if we have mostly excellents stamped in our homework journals.

We were learning all about Autumn last week. We got to go out to yard on a leaf trail! We found all different types of leaves!

We used the leaves we gathered to make leaf people in art after reading the story 'Leaf Man'.

We had our Sports Day in St Margarets GAA Complex last Friday. It was such a great day! Well done to all of first and second class for taking part.

 And now the preparations for the most anticipated day of the academic calendar in KNS- Harvest Fair!
