Hello!
We are having fun doing lots of maths this week because it is Maths Week! We have been learning about maths all around us in our environments, so if you see anything number related at home please discuss with your child, e.g. 'I see ten things with numbers on them in the sitting room', or 'I see two ways of making sixteen in the kitchen'. It is all about seeing maths in real life!
Maths games on the whiteboard:
Science experiments:
The raisins are heavier than the drink so they sink to the bottom. At the bottom
of the fizzy drink they collect bubbles of carbon dioxide and now the ‘raisins +
bubbles’ are lighter than the drink so they rise to the surface. When they reach the surface the gas bubbles burst and the raisins sink; then they collect more gas bubbles etc.
